The small panel-mounted 1/32 DIN DP-682 counters incorporate a large 0.3” (8mm) high liquid crystal display for easy viewing. Powered by an internal battery, they have a data retention life of 10 years minimum, with no connection to any external power source. This allows application in portable or remote devices, machines where wiring may be difficult, or in low voltage systems. They may eliminate the need for slip-rings in rotating machinery.
They feature a front panel reset switch as well as a rear panel terminal reset. The front panel reset pushbutton switch may be disabled to prevent accidental resets by removing a jumper on the rear. Counting may be initiated by contact closure, low-voltage input, or high-voltage input options.
The DP-682 counters can monitor up to 10 million events. They are easily mounted through the panel, without tools, by means of a removable ratcheting clip.
